Coastal Travel Company creates refined, story-driven visuals for hotels, resorts, and vacation properties that want to be remembered. We specialize in editorial photography and short-form video that captures the actual feeling of a stay — the morning light through linen curtains, the condensation on a cocktail glass at the pool bar, the way a suite looks when it has been styled but not staged.
Our work lives at the intersection of fashion, hospitality, and travel — built for the platforms and campaigns where first impressions are everything: Instagram, booking pages, websites, and paid advertising.
Based in Palm Beach, Florida, we work with properties across the Southeast, Caribbean, and beyond — bringing the same editorial intention to every engagement, whether it is a boutique Airbnb in the Keys or a luxury resort preparing for a major campaign season.
On-camera talent is often drawn from hotel staff or brand ambassadors, keeping the focus on the property and experience — not on a personality. The property is always the protagonist.
We document how people actually inhabit a property — candid, unhurried, and real.
Art-directed without feeling staged. Every frame has purpose and warmth.
We chase the golden hours, the quiet shadows, and the light that makes a place unforgettable.

Before Coastal Travel Company, Laura spent years working in corporate fashion, visual merchandising, and brand styling — building a deeply trained eye for how spaces are composed, how light works, and what makes an image feel aspirational rather than artificial.
That background shapes everything she creates. Where most travel photographers see a room, Laura sees a frame. Where most content creators see a pool, she sees the play of light on water at 7am, before anyone else is awake.
She founded Coastal Travel Company after relocating to Palm Beach, Florida — and realizing that the luxury properties surrounding her were consistently underserved by their own visual content. Beautiful hotels with mediocre Instagram pages. Stunning vacation rentals with listing photos that did not do them justice. A clear gap between the experience a property offered and the content it was using to sell that experience. Coastal Travel Company exists to close that gap.
Every project Laura takes on is treated as a creative partnership — not a vendor transaction. She works directly with property teams, arrives early, and spends the time before a shoot understanding how light moves through a space and which moments matter most. The result is content that feels lived-in, effortless, and genuinely desirable — because it was captured that way.
"The properties I'm most drawn to are the ones that have a soul — and my job is to find it and put it on screen."— Laura Crain
Laura's process is unhurried and immersive. She arrives early, stays late, and spends the in-between time understanding how light moves through a space — so that when the moment comes, she's ready.
Work TogetherEach frame is composed with the intention of a magazine spread, not a property listing.
Laura works directly with hotel teams, not through intermediaries — every shoot is a collaboration.
Natural light, golden hours, and architectural shadow are the primary tools — never artificial flash.
Small crew, deep focus. The guest experience is never compromised for the sake of the shoot.
